Oxford Global 14th Annual Biomarker Congress

14th Annual Biomarker Congress

February 21, 2019
Location: Manchester, United Kingdom

Proteome Sciences plc will be attending the 4th Annual Biomarker Congress in Manchester (details here) later this week:

1.  Dr. Ian Pike will present a podium talk on Thursday at 13:50 titled Enhanced Biomarker Discovery And Validation Using TMT® Proteomics.

2.  Over the duration of the meeting we will present a poster titled Method For Discovery of Peripheral Blood Biomarkers in Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis Using Extensive Depletion and TMTcalibrator Tissue-Enhanced™ Plasma Proteomics.  In this Super Depletion approach, a pre-column "top 60" protein removal step enables upwards of 9,000 lower concentration proteins to be detected in human plasma, compared to several 100 without this removal.

3.  Our exhibition booth number is 36.  Please drop by for more details on the above.

Super Depletion provides the opportunity to detect a record number of proteins in disease and drug based research, with the aim to identify a true protein biomarker that tracks changes in disease progression or drug treatment.  Following this approach, selected native and PTM modified, protein(s) can be quantified by our multiplexed MS based targeted methods.  Targeted assays are offered for both pre-clinical as well as clinical samples under GCLP quality standards.

We look forward to meeting you in Manchester.  If you can't make it, please contact us and we will send you copies of the presentation or poster once the event has concluded.
